Churches and Other Faith Organizations
Having been born and raised in the church and with an ongoing commitment to the church
community, I know firsthand that churches and faith organizations are filled with people who
love God deeply – and still struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and emotional
exhaustion. Many suffer quietly, unsure whether their experience is spiritual, emotional, physical
– or all of the above.

Still Becoming:
A Therapist’s Sacred Journey through Depression is a hope-centered, faith-integrated resource written to help the faith community to speak about depression with compassion, honesty, and spiritual depth – while also honoring sound clinical wisdom.
I wrote this book as both a former pastor and Biblical teacher, and as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in private practice in California, drawing from my own journey and years of walking alongside others in their healing. This book is a pastoral care resource and a compassionate support for those who may wonder, “Where is God in this?”
If your church or organization is ready to explore where clinical insight meets faith, I would be honored to serve and support you through speaking, teaching, workshops, or guided discussions that meet people where they are and point them toward healing and wholeness.
Specific topics can be tailored to your congregation’s needs and theological culture.
Invite me to speak, host a book study, or explore how Still Becoming can serve your needs. I would love to connect. My availability includes both travel and virtual events.
